Ngepi to Kazangula.

3 July 2015 driving through Bwabwata Park from Divundu.
The road was loooong! (and straight - they have signs to say there is a curve coming up) - through the Zambezi Region previously known as the Caprivi Strip.
Headed for Malya Wilderness Campsite, and no, we did not attempt this bridge crossing. We took the low road and got stuck in sand a bit further on on the other side. Kindly North Western Cape farmer helped us out and we felt a lot more confident and "experienced" about getting stuck hereafter. A lot about tyre pressure and momentum.

The bridge is used when the river is higher!

Kasane was full and we eventually found a place at Ngina Campsite at Kazangula.

Very peaceful and rustic until this happened - whilst we were sleeping!

We are over that now and 'moving on'.
'N Engelsman kan ook 'n plan maak.
We became instant camp celebrities and everyone knew who we were! We made the decision to remain positive and the loss of the iPhone and a few other items did not phase us too much. The biggest hassle was what to do about the window.

Early morning drive along Chobe River:
Afternoon boat trip on the Chobe. A highlight for the sheer beauty and proximity you can get to so many animals.
Perfect African ending to another wonderful day.
Sundowners at Senyati waterhole:

7 July - after much debate and trying to sort the window out in Botswana, we made the decision to return to South Africa the next day to await the replacement of our window before trekking further North.

Forgot to mention the helpfulness and friendliness of the general Botswana people and some in particular who went beyond what I expected.

A beer sitting next to a camp fire is good.
